Excursion summaries
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
Each day brings visitors face to face with extraordinary wildlife in exciting shows and hands-on encounters. Explore the exhibits with the kids, cuddle a koala, meet Blinky Bill, take a Segway Safari and get up close and personal for a #kangarooselfie in the Roo Paddock! With information boards in abundance and over 600 staff and volunteers onsite, the park offers the perfect opportunity to connect with and be educated by active conservation efforts on a personal level.
Q1 Building viewing platform
Known throughout Australia and internationally, SkyPoint is Australia’s highest beach-side observation deck, offering spectacular 360 degree views of the Gold Coast, from the beautiful beaches to the lush hinterland.
Rising 230m into the sky, SkyPoint is located on Level 77 & 78 of the iconic Q1 Building in southern Surfers Paradise. After ascending in one of the world’s fastest lifts, guests to the observation deck can discover the region’s history, culture and tourism treasures.
Movieworld Theme Park
Warner Bros. Movie World (more commonly referred to as Movie World) is a movie related theme park on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It is owned and operated by Village Roadshow via Village Roadshow Theme Parks since the take over from Warner Media and is currently the only movie related park in Australia. It was opened on June 3 1991.
The park contains various movie-themed rides and attractions ranging from motion simulators to roller coasters and slow river rides. In addition, famous characters also patrol the park, allowing visitors the chance to take photos with them. These include Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Austin Powers, Marilyn Monroe, Scooby-Doo and Shaggy and various Looney Tunes characters. Minor street shows including skits and singing performances are also present. The All-Star Parade showcases characters alongside vehicles and movie-themed floats.
There are a number of active film studios within the Movie World complex. House of Wax, the first Scooby-Doo film, the 2003 Peter Pan film, Ghost Ship, The Condemned and Fortress are amongst the many films and television series produced at Warner Roadshow Studios, adjoining Warner Bros. Movie World

Go behind the scenes and get up close with one of Australia’s most lovable and iconic marsupials, the Koala. Enjoy an exclusive opportunity to feed these animals their favourite food and have a cuddle for yourself. A photographer is available upon request to take candid photos of your interaction with the koala and a USB will be available to purchase to take your memories home.
Brisbane City Excursion
View Brisbane city up close with a tour of some of the iconic spots and building, followed by short bus trip to Mt Coot-tha look-out for amazing view of the city followed by a visit to the Planetarium and botanical gardens and then across to South Bank Cultural Centre
